Paris is dead. All is lost. The Trojan War is over. But for Helen and Menelaus, life goes on…How do you survive when you have witnessed the end of your world? To what end?
In this production created for the Théâtre Nanterre-Amandiers, Simon Abkarian, who plays Menelaus alongside Marie-Sophie Ferdane, challenges the ancient narrative in a one-of-a-kind dialogue where the carnal and sensual meet. No longer a pawn in men’s games, Helen is finally reclaiming what has been taken from her : her humanity.
