SHOW POSTPONED IN 2020-2021
The air is becoming stifling, the waters are rising, the deserts are spreading and most soils are barren. To ward off despair, Thomas Scimeca, Anne-Elodie Sorlin and Maxence Tual – three actors and authors who met in the theater troupe Chiens de Navarre – imagine an extraordinary garden set against the backdrop of environmental catastrophe. In this enchanted place, nearly everything is possible – but as they dig deeper and keep gazing at the stars, these dreamers come upon some funny surprises.
Anne-Elodie Sorlin, Thomas Scimeca et Maxence Tual ont travaillé ensemble au sein de la compagnie Les Chiens de Navarre, notamment sur Une raclette (2008), Nous avons les machines (2010), Quand je pense qu’on va vieillir ensemble (2012) … Depuis Anne-Elodie Sorlin a travaillé avec notamment Daniela Labbé Cabrera dans Le Voyager Record présenté à Nanterre-Amandiers en 2018, Jean-Luc Vincent dans Détruire d’après Marguerite Duras, Pierre Maillet pour La Cuisine d’Elvis, Jean-Michel Ribes pour Palace.
Thomas Scimeca a travaillé avec Marcial Di Fonzo Bo dans l’opéra Le Roi Arthur de Purcell et Le Royaume des animaux de Roland Schimmelpfennig. Il a joué au cinéma sous la direction de Sébastien Betbeder, Jean Christophe Meurisse, Valérie Donzelli, Nicolas Bedos … Maxence Tual a joué dans Le Misanthrope sous la direction de Rodolphe Dana et a tourné au cinéma avec Thomas Bidegain, Jean-Christophe Meurisse, Julien Guetta, Aurélien Vernhes-Lermusiaux.
Tous les trois décident de se réunir pour monter Jamais labour n’est trop profond.
