For more than a decade, Radio Live has been giving voice to an alternative global perspective — one shaped by young people committed to change. Originally conceived by Aurélie Charon and Caroline Gillet as an extension of their radio series, the project takes the form of a live documentary, combining audio and video archives, live music, and images and sounds created live by Amélie Bonnin and Gala Vanson. Aurélie Charon takes the stage to collect and weave together the powerful and inspiring accounts of her young guests, drawn from various backgrounds and places.

“Réuni·es” is the third and final instalment in a triptych exploring conflicts and potential reconciliations. After “Vivantes” (Alive) in 2024, which focused on Ukraine, Syria and Bosnia, and then “Nos vies à venir” (The Life Ahead of Us) in 2025, centred on Beirut, Gaza and Syria, Aurélie Charon travelled to Kigali with three new guests. Born in Rwanda in 1997, Yannick Kamanzi stands as a voice for the post-genocide generation, critically examining collective memory. Karam Al Kafri, a Palestinian-Syrian, returns to Damascus, his hometown, after 12 years of exile, and questions the possibility of justice in a post-Bashar al-Assad era. Born in Avignon to Moroccan parents, Sihame El Mesbahi navigates two cultures, forging a daily link between France and Morocco. They will all be present on stage to share their experiences and life journeys.
